Have you ever tried shrimp in an egg sandwich?
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons salted butter
1 large egg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste
1 everything bagel
4 raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 slice provolone cheese
Instructions:
On a griddle or large fry pan over medium heat, melt the butter and spread around. Crack the egg onto the griddle and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the whites are set, or to your likeness.
While the egg is frying, place the shrimp onto the griddle and cook until pink, about 1-2 minutes on each side.
Toast the bagel on the griddle for about 2 minutes on each side.
Time to assemble: Place the bottom half of the bagel on a plate and put the fried egg on top of it. Then the provolone cheese, shrimp, and top half of the bagel. Give the residual heat from the egg and shrimp time to melt the cheese. Serve immediately.
