Strawberry Almond Vanilla Galette With Banana Nice Cream

  • 1 pastry dough, homemade or store bought
  • 2 sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Poppy seeds, for garnish
  • Bee pollen, for garnish
  • banana nice cream, for serving (recipe below)


  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Set the pie dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. 

  • Step 2

    In a bowl, stir together the strawberries, vanilla and almond extract. Scoop into the center to the pie dough leaving a 2 inch border around the outer edge. Fold the edges up over one another to hold in the strawberries. 

  • Step 3

    Place baking sheet in the center rack of your oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

  • Step 4

    Serve with Banana nice cream and enjoy!

Banana Nice cream


  • 4 bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Step 1

    Place bananas into a food processor and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add in vanilla and blend to incorporate. Serve immediately or place into the freezer in an air tight container to enjoy later.
