Vegan Chocolate Mousse

  • 1 whole avocado
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 tbsp almond milk, optional


  • Step 1

    Melt your dark chocolate until it's silky and smooth.

  • Step 2

    Scoop the flesh out of your avocado and add to a food processor with your melted chocolate and remaining ingredients.

  • Step 3

    Blend all the ingredients until silky and no avocado lumps remain. Adjust to your taste by adding more sweetener or chocolate/spread.

  • Step 4

    Serve immediately and divide into ramekins. Decorate with your choice of toppings.
