ingredients
- 2 bags black tea
- 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ginger, fresh or ground
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Method
Step 1
In a small pot, place water, tea bags, and spices over low heat and let simmer gently.
Step 2
After 5-6 minutes, or until tea has steeped to a dark brown color, add the milk and bring to a gentle boil.
Step 3
Remove from heat and discard the bags.
Step 4
Add cocoa powder and honey and whisk vigorously until well combined. Enjoy!
