ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced, to taste
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Parsley
  • 2 slices bread, toasted, gluten free bread (optional)

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook for a few minutes, then add chickpeas. Mix in garam masala, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cook for 7-8 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Divide between toast.
