Made with spiced simple syrup, almond extract and fresh fruit juice, this refreshingly sweet and tangy Mai Tai mocktail is the perfect non-alcoholic option for any occasion.

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces orange juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 ounce spiced simple syrup
  • Orange slice and/or mint for garnish, optional

Spiced Simple Syrup

ingredients

  • 1 Chai tea bag
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Method

  • Step 1

    Seep tea bag in boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Add the brown sugar and whisk until dissolved.

  • Step 2

    Allow to cool and keep in fridge for up to to 3 weeks. (Makes about 10-12 ounces of simple syrup)

Mocktail

  • Step 1

    Add the orange, pineapple, and lime juices to a cocktail glass filled with ice.

  • Step 2

    Add the almond extract and spiced syrup. Stir well and garnish with mint and/or an orange slice, if using.
