Sparkling Blood Orange Peach Granita

ingredients
- 1 cup Sanpellegrino® Aranciata Rossa
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 lbs (about 6 large peaches) fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Method
Step 1
Add all ingredients in a high-power blender or food processor and blend until smooth, about 10 seconds.
Step 2
Pour the mixture into a 9”x13” casserole dish and place in the freezer
Step 3
Freeze for 1 hour and fluff the mixture with a fork.
Step 4
Repeat this process every 30 minutes, about 5 more times or until the mixture is frozen and looks like “broken granite”. It is important to continually fluff the mixture with a fork as it freezes to ensure the mixture doesn’t freeze into one large block
Step 5
Serve immediately or continue to stir every so often to keep the granita from freezing in a block
