ingredients
- 275 gram sifted flour
- 12 gram baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tabelspoons olive or sunflower oil
- 240 milliliter milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions and chives (in the ratio 2/3 to 1/3
- 1/2 cup grated edam cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarela
- 2 tablespoons finely grated edam cheese
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 C and put paper baskets in muffin molds.
Step 2
In a medium size container mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, sugar.
Step 3
In another bowl mix well 1 egg with mixer and then add milk and finally oil.
Step 4
Add wet ingredients into dry and mix and finally add cheese and spring onions and chives. Mix well.
Step 5
Put the prepared mixture in the muffins mold (enough for 12 muffins) and from above sprinkle with a little grated cheese.
Step 6
Bake in preheated oven for about 15 to 17 minutes or until they get a golden. Remove them from the oven and put them on the cooling rack.
