Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can black beans
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can red kidney beans
  • 1 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1 (28 ounce) can Tuttorosso Tomatoes Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce) can Tuttorosso Tomato Paste

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a large dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until lightly browned and softened. Add ground beef, bacon and spices and cook for 5 minutes, or until meat is cooked through.

  • Step 2

    Once the meat is browned, add beans, corn, Tuttorosso Tomatoes Diced Tomatoes and Tuttorosso Tomato Paste and stir until well combined.

  • Step 3

    Add chipotle chilis and bacon. Season to taste, then simmer for 30 minutes.
