  • 2 pieces Pomfret Fish
  • 6 tablespoons Mustard powder
  • 1 cups Mustard Oil
  • 10 pieces Bori( Dry Red Lentil Fritters)
  • 1 pieces Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • To Taste Salt


  • Step 1

    Pour Mustard Oil in pan. Wait till smoke comes out. Put the fish pieces for frying. Set the Fish pieces aside after frying.

  • Step 2

    Put Bori in the same oil. Fry them. Chop the tomato and put it in pan.

  • Step 3

    Take a bowl. Add the Mustard Powder. Add water and make paste. Put it in blender after mixing. Pour the mixture in pan once tomatoes soften.

  • Step 4

    Add salt to taste, 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder. Cook for few minutes till raw smell goes away.

  • Step 5

    Add the fried fish pieces. Cook for few minutes in low flame till fish pieces absorb the flavour of mustard powder.

  • Step 6

    Transfer to a plate and serve.
