  • 2 cups Gram Flour
  • 1 teaspoons Nigella Seeds
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • 3 cups Oil


  • Step 1

    Take all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix everything. Add water and make a batter. Pour oil in pan. Boil it. Take 2 tsp of hot oil and put it in batter. Whip again.

  • Step 2

    Take small amount of batter in Palm and put it in pan for frying. Fry them golden. Flip in between to fry both sides.

  • Step 3

    Take out the Phuluri on a plate. Smash with a ladle/spatula. Put it again in pan for frying. Fry them in medium flame. Take out and serve hot with puffed rice.
