Paneer Butter Masala

  • 250 g Paneer
  • 3 spears Tomato
  • 2 pieces Onion
  • 6 pieces Cashew Nuts
  • 1/2 inch Ginger slice
  • To Taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1 cups Soya Oil


  • Step 1

    Cut paneer into cubes. Add salt and 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder on them. Marinate for 30 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Pour oil in pan. Add 1 tsp ghee. Cut the tomato, Onion into thin slices. Put cashew nuts in pan. Fry them.

  • Step 3

    Add the onion slices. Saute for few minutes. Add tomato slices. Fry everything for few minutes. Take out on a plate and let it cool.

  • Step 4

    Make a smooth paste. Now fry paneer cubes in same oil and set aside.

  • Step 5

    Add the masala paste in pan. Saute for few minutes. Add water as much needed. Add the fried paneer cubes. Add salt to taste.

  • Step 6

    Cook till water absorbs the flavour of masala and raw smell of water goes away. Transfer to a plate and serve hot.
