ingredients

  • 1 pieces medium Bottle Gourd
  • 1 pieces Potato Cubes (perboiled)
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
  • 4 teaspoon Moong Dal / Yellow Lentil
  • 1 teaspoons Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 cups Mustard Oil
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Sugar

Method

  • Step 1

    Dry Roast the Moong Dal/Yellow Lentil. Wash them thoroughly after frying.

  • Step 2

    Put mustard oil in pan. Put the potato cubes for frying. Add the Dal. Toss everything.

  • Step 3

    Scrap the skin of bottle gourd. Cut it into shreds. Put it in pan.

  • Step 4

    Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, 1 Tsp Cumin Powder. Mix everything.

  • Step 5

    Add 1 tsp Sugar. Cover with a lid and cook for few minutes in low flame.

  • Step 6

    Toss again after few minutes. Sprinkle 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder and finish cooking.
