ingredients

  • 1 cups Besan/ Gram Flour
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 pieces Tomato
  • 1/2 inch Ginger Slice
  • 1 teaspoons Coriander Powder
  • To Taste Gur
  • 1 cups Mustard Oil

Method

  • Step 1

    Take a bowl. Put the besan in the bowl. Add salt to taste, pinch of turmeric powder. Add water and make paste. Add 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder. Whisk again. Set aside for 30 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add 1 tsp Baking Powder and whisk again. Bake for 20 minutes. Cut into cubes. Fry the Dhokas in oil. Set aside after frying.

  • Step 3

    Cut tomato and ginger slice. Make paste. Take the ground spices in a bowl other than Garam Masala Powder. Add water and make paste.

  • Step 4

    Put the tomato paste in pan. Start sauteing. Add salt to taste. Add the spice paste once the previous masala paste start changing colour.

  • Step 5

    Add water as much needed. Add gur to taste. Mix well. Add the fried Dhokas once masala blends with the water. Sprinkle 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder and finish cooking
