ingredients
- 3-4 cups brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar or champagne vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Chopped parsley, as garnish
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
- Grated parmesan, as garnish
Method
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add brussel sprouts to skillet, and sprinkle with a generous pinch of salt. Cover the pan with the lid. Cook for 4-6 minutes, depending on the size of your brussel sprouts, or until browned in some spots. Uncover and stir.
Step 2
Pour in white wine or champagne vinegar and honey, stirring quickly to coat. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring once or twice, until the vinegar has boiled away and brussel sprouts are tender.
Step 3
Remove from heat and transfer onto your serving dish. Top with roughly chopped parsley, cracked black pepper, and grated parmesan and serve.
