Sizzling Scallion Chili Garlic Dip

I have seen many wonderful creators make dips like this and I felt like I was missing out lol so I wanted to make a dairy-free/vegan version! it turned out SO delicious - honestly even better than I expected. it’s super quick + easy to make but impressive enough for a dinner party or holiday appetizer! my version of this recipe is below, enjoy 😚

ingredients
- 1/3 cup light tasting olive oil or other neutral oil
- 4 scallions, thinly sliced (about ½ cup)
- 3 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups thick unsweetened non-dairy yogurt
- Lemon zest, for finishing
- Flaky salt, for finishing
Method
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together chopped scallions, garlic, chili flakes, paprika and sea salt.
Step 2
Heat oil in a small saucepan until hot and slightly sizzling. Remove the pan from heat and carefully pour over the scallion mixture. Mix everything together and let cool for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Swirl the yogurt into a serving bowl or plate, then gently spoon the hot scallion mixture overtop.
Step 4
Garnish with fresh lemon zest and flaky salt. serve with crackers, bread and/or veggies.
