Big Batch Cold Brew Coffee

  • 2 cups whole coffee beans
  • 11 cups cold water


  • Step 1

    In a coffee grinder, grind the beans on the coarsest setting. Combine the coffee grounds and the cold water in a large container (one that holds at least 3-4 quarts), cover, and refrigerate for at least 12 hours and up to 24 hours.

  • Step 2

    Strain the cold brew into a fresh container through a flour sack towel or a fine mesh sieve lined with several layers of cheese cloth and discard the grounds.

  • Step 3

    Store the cold brew in the refrigerator and serve over ice!
