ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 (8 ounce) block tuna steak
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1 cup wonton crisps
  • 4 tablespoons Organic Asian Sesame Dressing
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil, for cooking

Method

  • Step 1

    Rinse quinoa under water for 1 minute, strain, then add to a small pot with olive oil over medium heat. Stir and cook for 1 minute and season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2

    Add chicken stock to the pot (enough to fully cover the quinoa), let it come to a boil then turn heat setting to simmer, cover the pot, and let it sit for 10 minutes

  • Step 3

    Pat your tuna steak dry, then add desired seasonings to both sides of your tuna steak. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and sear tuna on each side for 1 minute

  • Step 4

    Remove tuna steak from pan and let it rest for five minutes. Slice and serve.

  • Step 5

    To each bowl add 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa as a base. Add a handful of shredded cabbage and shredded carrots. Add seared tuna and top with wonton crisps. Drizzle Annie’s Organic Asian Sesame Dressing on top
