ingredients
- 4 ounces Sardines
- 2 tbsp Aka Miso (Red Miso Paste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Tamari
- 1/2 teaspoon Mirin
- 1 teaspoon Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated fine Ginger
- 2 teaspoon sliced Green Onion
- 2 teaspoon chiffonade Basil / Mint
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
Method
Step 1
Start by carefully chopping up your sardines. You don't want any mush. You want chunks of fish for this to hold weight. Set aside.
Step 2
Combine the aka miso, tamari, mirin, rice wine vinegar and grated ginger in a fancy bowl and whisk till combined.
Step 3
Add the sardines and fold into the mixture. Fold in the basil/mint chiffonade and top with sesame seeds.
