No Bake Chocolate Caramel Slice
- 175 gram graham cookies, crushed
- 60 gram desiccated coconut
- 90 gram melted butter
- 150 gram sugar
- 750 gram condensed milk
- pinch salt
- 125 gram butter
- COCOLATE TOPPING:
- 200 gram dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Line a 9x9 inch square baking pan with parchment. Set aside.
FOR THE CRUST: Mix together melted butter, cookie crumbs and coconut until combined. Press into prepared pan.
FOR THE FILLING: In a medium saucepan, over medium high heat, add the sugar, and condensed milk. Cook until golden and caramelized. Stir in butter and salt. Remove from heat and pour over crust into the pan. Refrigerate until solid.
FOR THE CHOCOLATE TOPPING: whisk together melted chocolate and vegetable oil until combined. Pour on top of the chilled caramel bars and spread to the outer edges. Refrigerate again until solid. Cut into squares and enjoy!
