Jack The Ripper Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients

4 oz Jack Daniels
1/2 fresh squeezed orange
2 oz cinnamon simple syrup (see below)
2 tbsp salted caramel

Shake until frosty & serve with salted caramel rim. 

To make cinnamon simple syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

5 cinnamon sticks

Bring sugar and water to boil in a medium saucepan. When sugar has dissolved add cinnamon sticks and remove from heat. Allow to steep until mixture is cool. Remove cinnamon sticks and store in the fridge until ready to use.
