ingredients
- 1 cup oatmeal flour
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, plus more for garnish
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate 70%-80%, melted
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons hot water, as needed
Method
Step 1
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
In a food processor, grind the hazelnuts. Add the oatmeal flour and grind it together with the hazelnuts. Then add the vanilla, pinch of salt, cocoa powder and melted dark chocolate and mix again in the food processor until it has a moldable consistency. If is too dry you can add some hot water.
Step 3
To finish, roughly chop some hazelnuts. Then mold the truffles with your hands into balls and coat with the chopped hazelnuts. Add to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 4
Put the truffles in the fridge for about 20 minutes and you’re ready to enjoy!
