Method
Step 1
INGREDIENTS 125g semolina (durum wheat, fine semolina) 60g Horlicks 60g brown sugar 100g unsalted butter at room temperature 1 tsp cardamom powder
Step 2
Preheat oven to 160°C. Whisk together butter and sugar till fluffy. Sieve together the Horlicks, flour and cardamom. Add the butter and sugar and mix to form a smooth batter. Form 10 equal sized balls and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Take out of the freezer and shape using a cookie stamp (I used a Chinese mooncake mold) or give it any shape you like. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Allow to cool down on a cooling rack before eating...if you can resist!
