(24)
"#ad #feedfeed #TuttorossoTomatoes You can make a killer pasta with just a few ingredients if you make sure they’re all QUALITY! This one using Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes is great because it uses up the entire container of each major ingredient so you don’t have to worry about random amounts of leftovers in the fridge."

ingredients

  • 1 28-ounce can Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 16-ounce box rigatoni
  • 1 10-ounce container grape tomatoes
  • 1 12-ounce package chicken basil sausage, cut into diagonal discs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • pinch of dried basil
  • pinch of oregano
  • pinch of crushed red pepper
  • fresh basil, to garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook pasta according to package.

  • Step 2

While that cooks, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan, add garlic and stir for a couple of seconds before adding sliced sausage. Ours was precooked, so we browned it just for about 2 minutes. Cook for as long as necessary.

  • Step 3

Add the entire can of Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes, the basil, oregano, and crushed red pepper.

  • Step 4

Add the parmesan cheese and the entire container of heavy cream. Stir. Cook on medium heat until it bubbles.

  • Step 5

Add the grape tomatoes for the last two minutes then turn the heat off. Add cooked pasta directly to the sauce pan and combine.

  • Step 6

Garnish with fresh basil and serve!
