ingredients
- 3 ripe mangosteens
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 separated egg whites
Method
Step 1
Begin by preparing the mangosteen. Cut a small “X” shape on the bottom of the mangosteen, just enough to penetrate the skin. Gently peel the skin away, revealing the juicy segments. Remove the segments from the fruit, discarding any seeds or tough membranes.
Step 2
In a blender, combine the mangosteen segments, banana, coconut milk, honey, and ice cubes (if desired).
Step 3
Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Step 4
Serve immediately and enjoy!
