Crunchy bottom
ingredients
- 170 grams cornflakes
- 140 grams golden syrup
- 150 grams creamy peanut butter
- 100 grams soft brown sugar
Chocolate top
ingredients
- 225 grams chocolate
- 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- Sea salt
Method
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, syrup and peanut butter.
Step 2
Place this mixture into a saucepan on a medium heat for a few minutes, until it has become a bit melted and easier to work with.
Step 3
In a large bowl, place your cornflakes and the peanut butter mixture. Combine together.
Step 4
Once combined, place into a square baking tray and press down firmly. Cover and leave to set for an hour.
Step 5
After the hour, make your choc topping! Pour the mixture on top of the crunchy layer.
Step 6
Leave to set for around 30mins - 1 hour. Sprinkle the flaky salt on top and devour!
