Bacon Balsamic Roasted Brussel Sprouts

ingredients
- 4 cups brussel sprouts, halved and boiled in water
- 4 strips bacon, sliced into pieces
- Seeds of 1 pomegranate
- 3 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
Method
Step 1
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. SautΓ© the bacon in the pan for 2 minutes, then add onions and brussel sprouts. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Next, add the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and pomeganate βseeds. Reduce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Step 3
Mix in the maple syrup. Top with pomegranate seeds.
