cup, to break your egg into before you transfer to the water

1-2 tbsp plain white vinegar

Directions:

Bring water to a boil. Add 1-2 tbsp plain white vinegar.

Crack the egg into the sieve and allow any excess egg white to drain off. Transfer cracked egg into the cup.

Reduce heat so that your boiling water is at a slow simmer (not a rapid boil)

Use a spoon to swirl the water to create a little whirlpool. Gently place the cracked egg into the middle of the whirpool.

Cook for about 3 minutes and remove from the water gently with a slotted spoon. Serve as desired & enjoy.
