Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 2 macadamia nut flour
  • 2 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 4 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 400F

  • Step 2

Combine all wet ingredients in a small bowl. If coconut oil is solidified it helps to warm it in the microwave for 20 seconds or so. Add the wet ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Should form a lump of dough.

  • Step 3

Place a large sheet of parchment paper on a flat surface. Sandwich the graham cracker dough between two sheets of parchment paper and flatten into a thin sheet (preferably using a rolling pin).

  • Step 4

Precut the dough into small rectangles using a dull kitchen knife to allow the crackers to break more easily. If you use a very sharp knife the edges a less smooth. Poke holes using a fork to make them look like genuine graham crackers (optional)

  • Step 5

Bake in the oven for about 7 or 8 minutes. Take them out and flip oven. Cook for an addition 3 or 4 minutes. You want the crackers to be golden brown. If you're oven doesn't get super hot you may want to broil for 1-2 minutes, but watch them closely to avoid burning!

  • Step 6

Remove from oven. Allow to cool. Enjoy!
