As promised, here's the recipe for my yummy Blueberry Apple Crumble with Cinnamon Oat Crumble.It makes the perfect warm breakfast or dessert and you can easily substitute the fruits I used for whatever you have at hand. I made this in a really small casserolle abd it served about two hungry eaters?So if you would like to make it for a crowd be sure to double or triple the ingredients. Preheat oven to 190 Celsius Peel and chop 4 small apples and assemble in a small casserolle Add 1 cup frozen blueberries 2 TBS water and generously sprinkle with a mixture made of chai spices,cinnamon and brown sugar In a small bowl mix 25 g spelt flour 25 g oats 25 g coconut or brown sugar 1 tbs cinnamon a pinch of cardamom with 30g (vegan ) butter and combine by kneading with your hands until you have a slightly greasy dough Now crumble the mixture over the fruit and bake for 25-30 minutes until the fruits are soft and the crumble crispy. Blueberry Apple Crumble with Cinnamon Oat topping sounds like dessert for breakfast and I’m not complaining.

Blueberry-Apple Crumble with Cinnamon Oat Crumble

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit.

Peel and chop 4 small apples
and assemble in a small casserole dish.
Add 1 cup frozen blueberries 
2 TBS water
Sprinkle with a mixture made of chai spices, cinnamon and brown sugar.

In a small bowl mix:

3 tbsp spelt flour
3 tbsp oats
2 tbsp coconut or brown sugar 
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of cardamom
with 1/8 cup (vegan) butter
and combine by kneading with your hands until you have a slightly greasy dough.

Now crumble the mixture over the fruit and bake for 25-30 minutes until the fruits are soft and the crumble crispy.

Serve with yoghurt, vanilla sauce, ice cream or whatever you prefer.
