Ketchup & Onion Sauce Tofu

  • 1 (16 oz) block of firm tofu,
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • dash of pepper


  • Step 1

    Cut tofu into cubes or triangles. Air fry at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, make the sauce by combining remaining ingredients in a pot. Simmer over medium heat until onions are translucent, stirring constantly.

  • Step 3

    Coat tofu in sauce. Serve immediately or let tofu marinate in sauce until ready to eat.
