- 1/ 2 pound green beans
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1/ 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon water
Rinse and trim green beans. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add in green beans and boil 3-5 minutes, until tender. Drain with a colander and rinse under cold water to prevent further cooking. Chop into thirds.
Mix remaining ingredients together until fully combined. Add more water as needed to reach desired consistency.
Mix sauce with green beans and sprinkle a few extra sesame seeds on top.
