ingredients

  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1 can (14.5oz) Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 8-10 tortillas

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 400F and heat a skillet on the stovetop to medium heat.

  • Step 2

    Add the ground beef to the skillet and once the meat is browned, mix in the tomatoes, onion, and seasoning.

  • Step 3

    Wrap your tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave for around a minute.

  • Step 4

    Brush the tortilla with olive oil and lay oiled side down on baking sheet.

  • Step 5

    Add ¼ cup of the meat mix and sprinkle shredded cheese over top of 1 tortialla. Fold over the tortilla and press down.

  • Step 6

    Repeat across all tortilla.

  • Step 7

    Bake the tacos for 10 minutes and add toppings of your choice!
