It’s essentially what I tell my dumpling students when they need to gather ingredients for class. You can make dumplings with essentially anything but there are a few guidelines to keep in mind to make a balanced and juicy filling at the end! And if you want want to make a crispy dumpling skirt, just add a tablespoon of flour to the water when you follow the pan fry method... SO CRUNCHY.
