  • 2 large avocados (ripe but still firm), sliced `
  • 1 box Simple Mills Almond Flour Sea Salt Crackers
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup brown rice flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened plant based milk (such as almond or cashew)
  • Fresh coriander (optional), chopped

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and brush it with avocado oil.

  • Step 2

    In a medium bowl, combine the crushed crackers, chili powder, and smoked paprika.

  • Step 3

    In another bowl, mix together brown rice flour, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and milk until well-combined.

  • Step 4

    Dip an avocado slice into the bowl with the milk mixture. Then drop it into the bowl with the crackers. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining slices.

  • Step 5

    Bake for 10 minutes Flip, then bake for another 5 minutes.

  • Step 6

    Remove from the oven, transfer onto a serving plate, garnish with chopped coriander, and eat as is or with your favorite dipping sauce.
