Belgian Waffles with Fresh Fruit

  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 2 eggs, divided with yolks and whites separate
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 6 ounces butter


  • Step 1

    In a bowl, combine fluor, sugar and baking power. Separate the eggs. In another bowl, beat the egg yolks and milk. Mix the egg mixture with the dry ingredients. Add the melted butter and stir until combined. Beat egg whites until stiff peak forms. Fold carefully into batter. Heat the waffle iron. Bake waffles in a smaller size until golden brown. Serve immediately with fruit and berries!
