The color of these these Jamun (Java Plum), Banana & Chia Popsicles come from Java Plums (a fruit native to South Asia). You could try making these with regular plums (although the color will not be quite as bright!), just use about 10 small ones!

ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 20 Java plums, deseeded
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tablespoon honey, plus more if you like it sweeter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Method

  • Step 1

    Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth (scrape down the sides a few times to ensure even blending). Pour into popsicle molds, freeze and enjoy.
