ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 nectarine, sliced
  • 4 strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar, or more to taste
  • 2 maple syrup, to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 425˚F. Place butter in the bottom of a 10 inch baking dish and place in oven until melted.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile blend eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt until well blended.

  • Step 3

    When butter has melted, remove dish from the oven and pour in batter. Return to the oven and bake for 20 minutes until puffed up and set in the center. Turn oven to 300˚ F and bake for 5 minutes more.

  • Step 4

    Remove dish from oven top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fruit. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
