ingredients
- 1 pounds Ground Beef
- 6 oz Egg Noodles
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
Method
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to boil and cook noodles according to package directions. Once cooked, set a side for later.
Step 2
In a large skillet, brown ground beef until all the pink is removed, drain and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add beef broth to the paste and whisk continuously to remove any lumps. Continue to stir until the sauce starts to thicken.
Step 5
Slowly whisk in milk and continue to simmer over medium until sauce once again thickens.
Step 6
Stir in salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to the sauce.
Step 7
Reduce heat to low. Stir in the egg noodles and ground beef.
Step 8
Stir in sour cream and mix until everything is incorporated.
Step 9
Serve with your favorite vegetable or garlic toast.
