ingredients

  • 4 lychees, peeled, plus more for serving
  • 3 sage leaves
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 ounces Rosé
  • 1 1/2 ounces gin

Method

  • Step 1

    In a small pot, heat the sugar and water along with the shelled lychees and sage leaves. Bring to a simmer and cook on lower for a further 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool.

  • Step 2

    Using two martini glasses, pour the vodka and rosé into each glass. Top with 1 1/2 ounces sage and lychee syrup in each. Top with a fresh peeled lychee in each pierced with a toothpick or other skewer. Sip away.
