ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 cl gin
  • to serve ice
  • to serve lemon slices
  • 1 Drink Churchill Lemon Soda

Method

  • Step 1

    In a small pot, place the dried hibiscus, sugar and water on medium heat and bring to the boil. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave too cool. Spoon out or strain the hibiscus leaves from the liquid. Keep some of the flowers for garnishing at the end.

  • Step 2

    Place a generous amount of ice in two long glasses. Add 4cl of cool hibiscus syrup into each, 4cl gin in each and top with Drink Churchill soda. Serve with lemon slice and hibiscus flowers.
