Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 16 ounces chocolate, dark, milk, or white (high quality)
  • 1/4 cup toppings of your choice, nuts, sprinkles, dried fruit, mini peanut butter cups, caramel, crushed oreos etc.

Method

  • Step 1

Heat chocolate in a medium bowl over a double boiler. Be sure to stir often and heat over a low simmer. Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, remove the bowl with the pot from the heat. Keep the bowl over the hot pot of water as you work to keep the chocolate from setting.

  • Step 2

Distribute the chocolate evenly into 4 silicone chocolate molds, smoothing the tops with an offset spatula.

  • Step 3

Sprinkle toppings of choice over the top, using a spatula to gently press the toppings into the melted chocolate.

  • Step 4

Allow the molds to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes and then carefully transfer them to the refrigerator to set completely. Chocolate will set in about 20 minutes.

  • Step 5

Carefully peel the molds away from the chocolate bars and keep chilled until ready to wrap.

  • Step 6

Wrap with If You Care Parchment Baking Sheets and then decorate with holiday paper, ribbons, and custom tags.
