Chocolate Almond Brownies

"Hey there! Do you like chocolate? I LOVE chocolate. Here is one of the biggest chocolate classic! But on my way: gluten, dairy and refined sugar free. Such a yummy treat for dessert, snack or even breakfast."

Ingredients:

Serves 9
90g dark chocolate
100g chopped almonds
75g almond flour
80g raw sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup almond butter
2 eggs or flax eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180°C (390°F).
In a medium saucepan over boiling water melt the chocolate with coconut oil, then stir in the almond butter to combine.

In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla extract. Add almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Mix until well combined. Pour in melted chocolate mixture and combine. Fold in chopped almonds and stir.

Transfer the batter to a parchment lined 20cm (8x8 inch) baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy
