Crispy Teriyaki Tofu

  • 1/2 tbsp peanut oil


  • Step 1

    Whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic powder and cornstarch. Add tofu and in it and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Heat oil on a pan over medium heat. Carefully take tofu pieces and fry it in hot oil. Fry well on all sides until crispy .

  • Step 3

    Once tofu is cooked in the same pan add spring onions, and thinly sliced carrots. Sauté for a few minutes until the carrots are still crisp but tender. Add again tofu on the pan and let it cook with the vegetables just for 1 minute. Add the fresh spinach leaves, pineapple and serve.
