  • Handful almonds (or hazelnuts)

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 356°F (180°C). Grease one baking pan with some butter and sprinkle some flour.

  • Step 2

    In a large bowl whisk together flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Keep it aside. In another bowl beat the eggs and the sugar together until sugar dissolves. Add the coconut oil and and almond milk. Mix for 1 minute.

  • Step 3

    Start adding the dry ingredients, a bit at a time. Once everything is well incorporated add 1 tbsp. or 2 of Nutella (give a last mix). Put in the baking pan and bake it for 30-35 minutes.

  • Step 4

    For chocolate ganache: Bring heavy cream to simmer and pour it over the chocolate. Make sure that chocolate is covered completely. Whisk gently to mix both together. Let it cool down in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and beat it with a hand mixer till it becomes fluffy. Cut the cake into two disks, spread the white chocolate ganache on top of the base and close it with the other half. Cover the cake Nutella spread and sprinkle some almonds or hazelnuts. Enjoy :)
