ingredients

  • 5 ripe peaches, halved
  • 1 cup peach nectar, plus more to taste
  • 1 pint vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method

  • Step 1

    Sprinkle white sugar on the open halves of the peach halves and arrange them sugar side down in a heated frying pan or grill pan. Cook on both sides until well browned and very soft. Alternatively, roast the peaches in the oven under the broil setting. Allow peaches to cool.

  • Step 2

    In a blender, add peaches, peach nectar, ice, and blend. Add vanilla ice cream (the more frozen, the better) and blend again. If your milkshake is too thick, add in some milk.
