- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
- 2 apples, diced into small cubes
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 squeeze of lemon
- 3 graham crackers (gluten-free, if necessary), crushed
Method
Step 1
In the bowl of a stand mixer or a large bowl if using a hand mixer, add the cold cream and vanilla extract and whip until stiff peaks form.
Step 2
Fold in the sweetened condensed milk.
Step 3
Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and squeeze of lemon to a medium saucepan.
Step 4
Sauté on medium heat until the apple cubes are soft and a caramel forms from the brown sugar and juices.
Step 5
In a loaf pan, add layers of the vanilla ice cream base, sautéed apples, and crushed graham crackers. Use an offset spatula or butter knife to swirl the ice cream ingredients together.
Step 6
Freeze until set, about 5+ hours or overnight. Enjoy!
