END OF SUMMER FIG SMOOTHIE / One of my favorite afternoon pick-me-ups! Figs are one of the highest plant sources of calcium and are loaded with antioxidants. These beautiful edible inverted flowers are help keep our blood strong with accessible iron. Figs are an amazing pregnancy food as they are alkalizing have a high mineral content. I added a few of my favorite Indian spices to this smoothie to elevate the earthy flavors and make is a real blissed out treat. Enjoy and happy Sunday. xoa -@ashley_neese
