ingredients
- 9 peeled and chopped Prickly Pears
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 juice of one Lime
Method
Step 1
Carefully peel prickly pears and cut into cubes. In a medium saucepan cook prickly pears and sugar over medium heat. Cook until sugar dissolves, around 15 minutes.
Step 2
Strain the prickly pear liquid to remove the seeds. Add the lime juice and salt and whisk. Let cook completely before placing in ice cream machine, about 4-12 hours.
Step 3
Following the directions of your ice cream machine, pour your sorbet liquid in the bowl and let churn for about 15-20 minutes and has thickened. Transfer to a lidded container and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours and serve with lime juice and Tajin! Hope you love it!
