Citrus ice pops 3 ways: Those are perfect for a dose of sunshine and vitamin C during the winter months. They are also good in soothing sore throats and to cure a case of the winter blues. Makes about 8 ice pops depending on the size of your ice pop molds. RECIPE: 1. Lemonade ice pop: Juice of 2 fresh lemons Zest of one lemon 2 Tbsp honey 2 1/2 cups filtered water Instructions * Dissolve the honey with the lemon juice mix together with the water. Adjust the sweetness and the tanginess to your liking. You can add more lemon or more honey to your desired taste. * Pour into popsicle molds and freeze completely. 2. Grapefruit ginger ice pops: Juice of two fresh grapefruits 2 tbls of honey 1/2 inch freshly grated ginger Mix all together Pour into popsicle molds and freeze completely. 3. Orange turmeric ice pops: Juice of 3 fresh oranges 1/2 inch freshly grated turmeric 1 tbls of honey 1/2 cup of club soda Mix all ingredients together. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze completely. *Feel free to thinly slice some citrus fruits and add them to the molds before adding the juice. Freeze until solid.
